- 요1:13 – 이는 혈통이로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로서 난 자들이니라

John 1:13 – Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God

 

1. 이스라엘의 총회로 모임 (삿 20:1-11)

Israelites assembled together (Jud. 20:1-11)

1) 이스라엘 모든지파 어른과 군인 40만명이 모임 (삿 20:1-3)

All adults and soldiers four hundred thousand of Israelites gathered (Jud. 20:1-3)

2) 레위인 사건의 전말을 듣는다 (삿 20:4-7)

Listened to the full story of Levite (Jud. 20:4-7)

3) 이스라엘 총회는 기브아에 대한 응징을 결의 (삿 20:9-11)

Assembly of Israelites decided the punishment for Gibeah (Jud. 20:9-11)

- 마 7:3 – 어찌하여 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티는 보고 네 눈 속에 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐… 외식하는 자여 먼저 네 눈 속에서 들보를 빼어라 그후에야 밝히 보고 형제의 눈 속에서 티를 빼리라

Mark 7:3 – “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?… You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

 

2. 연합된 이스라엘과 기브아인과의 전쟁 (삿 20:12-28)

The battle between united Israelites and people of Gibeah (Jud. 20:12-28)

1) 연합군 40만명과 베냐민자손과의 전쟁 (삿 20:12-18)

The battle between four hundred thousand soldiers and people of Benjamin (Jud. 20:12-18)

- 결국은 형제끼리의 전쟁

It was a battle between the brothers

눅11:17 – 예수께서 저희 생각을 아시고 이르시되 스스로 분쟁하는 나라마다 황폐하여지며 스스로 분쟁하는 집은 무너지느니라

Luke 11:17 – Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.”

- 제 1차 전쟁 (삿 20:19-21) – 이스라엘 22,000이 죽임당함

The 1st battle (Jud. 20:19-21) – 22,000 of Israelites were killed

- 제 2차 전쟁 (삿 20:22-25) – 18,000이 죽임당함

The 2nd battle (Jud. 20:22-25) – 18,000 were killed

2) 그 후 여호와 앞에가서 회개 (삿 20:26)

3) 회개 후 3차 전쟁 (삿 20:29-48)

After the repentance, the 3rd battle (Jud. 20:29-48)

(2) 이스라엘 연합군, 기브아에 입성 (삿 20:48)

1) 하나님의 나라를 위하여 살라

Live for God’s kingdom

- 빌2:21 – 저희가 다 자기 일을 구하고 그리스도 예수의 일을 구하지 아니하되

Phil. 2:21 – For everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ

2) 하나님의 계획을 이룰 후대를 양육하고 사람을 찾자

Raise and find the future generation who will fulfill God’s plan

- 고전 1:26 – 형제들아 너희를 부르심을 보라 육체를 따라 지혜있는 자가 많지 아니하며 능한 자가 많지 아니하며 문벌 좋은 자가 많지 아니하도다

1Cor. 1:26 – Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth

3) 천국을 소망하며 확실한 증인이 되라

Become a true witness and hope for the heaven

- 빌3:20 – 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니

Phil 3:20 – But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

4) 패악한 흑암사회를 그리스도의 빛으로 구원

Save the wicked and dark society with the light of Christ

- 마5:14 – 너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨기우지 못할 것이요

Matt. 5:14 – “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”
