나에게 왕이 있다면 (If I Had a King) 삿(Judges) 21장 

1. 누구를 위해 종을 우리는 지를 모름 - 전쟁에다한 혼돈

     People don't know for whom to ring the bell - confusion regarding war.

- 전쟁의 이유 타당성을 모름 (삿 20:48)

   Don't know the reason and validity for the war (Jud. 20:48)

- 삿20:48 – 이스라엘 사람이 베냐민 자손에게로 돌아와서 온 성읍과 가축과 만나는 자를 다 칼날로 치고 닥치는 성읍마다 다 불살랐더라

   Jud. 20:48 – The men of Israel went back to Benjamin and put all the towns to the sword, including the animals and everything else they found. All the towns they came across they set on fire.

2. 맹세 서약에 대한 혼돈 (삿 21:1-24)

     Confusion due to the oath (Jud. 21:1-24)

1) 미스바의 맹세

     Mizpah's oath

- 삿 21:1 - 이스라엘 사람들이 미스바에서 맹세하여 이르기를 우리중에 누구든지 딸을 베냐민사람에게 아내로 주지 아니하리라 하였더라

   Jud. 21:1 - The men of Israel had taken an oath at Mizpah: "Not one of us will give his daughter in marriage to a Benjamite."

2) 맹세에 대한 후회 (삿 21:2-7)

     Regrets due to the oath

(1) 하나님앞에 대성통곡 (삿21:2-3, 6)

      Raising their voices and weeping bitterly before God (Jud. 21:2-3,6)

(2) 하나님앞에 번제와 화목제를 드림 (삿21:4)

       Built an altar and presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God (Jud. 21:4)

(3) 문제해결의 혼돈

       Chaos of solving problems

a) 미스바에 와서 여호와 앞에 이르지 아니하는 자는 반드시 죽일 것이라 하였음이라 (5절)

     Anyone who failed to assemble before the LORD at Mizpah should certainly be put to death (verse 5)

    야베스 길르앗에서는 한 사람도 진에 이르러 총회에 참예치 아니하였으니 (8절)

     No one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the camp for the assembly. (verse 8)

b) 가서 야베스 길르앗 거민과 및 부녀와 어린아이를 칼날로 치라 (10절)

     Go to Jabesh Gilead and put to the sword those living there, including the women and children. (verse 10)

c) 모든 남자와 남자와 잔 여자를 진멸할 것이니라 하였더니 (11절)

     Kill every male and every woman who is not a virgin (verse 11)

d) 처녀 사백인을 베냐민에게 주다 (12절)

     They gave the your hundred young women to Benjamites (verse 12)

e) 림몬 바위에 숨은 베냐민 용사 육백명 (13절)

     Six hundred Benjamin soldiers who hid behind the rock of Rimmon (verse 13)

f) 장로들의 어리석음 (16-22절) 

     Foolishness of the elders of the assembly (verse16-22)

3. 우리에게 왕이 있다면 (예수 그리스도가 나의 왕) (삿21:25)

     If we had a king (Jesus Christ is my king) (Jud. 21:25)

1) 내 소견이 없음 – 하나님의 계획을 이룬 인생

     Don’t have my opinion – Life that fulfilled God’s plan

2) 나의 왕 – 주의 인도대로 가는 인생, 주의 영광을 위해 사는 인생, 주의 뜻을 이루는 인생

     My king – Life that follows God’s guide, life that lives for God’s glory, and life that fulfills God’s will
