Those who can Go into Battle (Num.1:1-4)

Intro

- Numbers means counting people.

God knows and calculates everything about us.

In the land of Canaan, there were 7 different tribes.

Soldiers are not there for the battle, but to prevent the battle. As you go on, there will be great hardships, so prepare a person who can go into the battles.

- You must need ‘power’ in order to fight. What is the most important power? The power you must have on your own. When a solder doesn’t have his own power, whole army won’t have power and lose.

You need to prepare/restore the 5 powers

(1)    As you are a spiritual being, you need to pray and gain spiritual power. You must enjoy this power daily. Spiritual power defines as the power I receive from God wherever I am and whatever I do.

-          This is the greatest power of all

-          Without this power, you can’t do anything

-          Because God promised to give this power to us, He will surely give it.

(2)    When you gain this power daily, you will be outstanding in making decision (Intellectual power). When you have this, you can help others, and you will be successful no matter what you do.

(3)    You also need to gain physical power through prayer.

(4)    And then, God will give you financial power.

(5)    Finally, you will also have the power that will save people. If a person close to you doesn’t like you, you don’t have the manpower.      

-          Isaiah40:31: But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The methods to restore these powers

1. Grab hold on to the evidence in the word that God has given you until now.

-          When you gain the power daily, you can hold on to the evidences. (Acts. 1:8)

(1)    Exo.3:18 – When you cover the door with the blood, Israelites will escape from the Egypt.

(2)    God showed 10 miracles in the Egypt.

(3)    Event of the Red Sea – When there is no way, God will make the way.

(4)    Evidence of the 3 Feasts (Passover, Pentecost, Ingathering). God will protect their people until the end.

(5)    When you live a tabernacle-centered life, you will be successful.

2. You must open spiritual eyes.

(1)    We have spiritual enemies (Satan, Gen.3:5, Gen.6:4)

(2)    Bible says that when you just pray, the Holy Spirit will work and when it happens, the army of Heaven will be with you and the forces of darkness will be bound automatically.

(3)    When you held on to the evidence, hold on to the fact now.

3. Grab hold of the assurance of the future.

-          When you have the spiritual power, all the events that happened in the past will be your evidences, and you will understand the spiritual fact, and finally you will see the future.

(1)    God will lead you into the land of Canaan.

(2)    You will see Messiah.

(3)    You will see Christ.

(4)    You will finally see the World Evangelism.

(5)    Evidence of the future – You need faith and the power.

-          Today, you must grab hold onto this covenant.

Conclusion

1. Find the powerful one! Gather the people who will go into the battle!

-          When you experience God’s power and gain the powers just once, everything will be change as well as your sight.

(1)    Exo.4:1-9 – Moses realized God’s power

(2)    Josh.1:1-9 – I will be with you like I was with Moses

2. Spiritual state – Gained the power means your spiritual state has been changed.

- Gain the 5 powers! When you gain the strength from God, you can do and overcome everything!
