For His Whole Life He Will Be Given Over to the Lord

1. God is a controller of my life

1) God created all creation and man – Creator

(1) Gen 1

(2) Gen 1:27-28

(3) Gen 2:7

(4) Psalms 139:13-14

2) God knows everything about my life

(1) Psalms 139 - David

3) God knows my problem – People don’t know well

(1) He knows the fundamental problem

- Gen 3:1-6

- John 8:44

- Rom 3:23

-> Sent Christ as a problem solver

(2) He knows the problems of today

- Psalms 139:2 – You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar

2. God who can solve my problems

- 1Sam 1:11 – When you give me a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head

- 1Sam 1:17 – Received the blessing message through priest Eli (May the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him)

- Mark 6:19-33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well

3. God who knows those who knew the grace after the answer

1) Fulfillment of the family

- 1Sam 1:21 – All his family to offer the annual sacrifice to the LORD and to fulfill his vow

2) Fulfillment of Hannah

- 1Sam 1:24 – After he was weaned, she took the boy to the priest Eli

- She fulfilled the promise with God -> True faith -> True answer

- 1Sam 1:28 – For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord

Conclusion

1. For us: Problem of the past is not a problem and the problem of today is not a problem

2. Find God’s message inside problems,

Hold on to the pulpit message and go into prayer

Then, God’s amazing evidence will appear

Especially, God’s workers have to prepare their attitude and vessel, and do not be discouraged by sufferings today

- Rom 8:18 – I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
