삼상 (1Sam.) 15장

1. 하나님이 주신 축복을 놓쳐버린 사울

Saul who lost hold of the blessings from God

- 하나님의 큰 축복을 받은 자다 (삼상9장)

He received great blessings (1Sam 9)

- 이스라엘의 왕

King of Israel

1) 하나님의 버림받은 사울 (삼상15:10-11)

Saul was abandoned by God (1Sam 15:10-11)

“내가 사울을 왕으로 세운 것을 우회하노니 그가 돌아켜서 나를 따르지 아니하며 내 명령을 행하지 아니하였음이니라 하신지라 사무엘이 근심하여 온 밤을 여호와께 부르짖으니라.”

“I am grieved that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” Samuel was troubled, and he cried out to the LORD all that night.

(1) 사울의 교만 (삼상15:1-9)

Saul’s arrogant (1Sam 15:1-9)

- 삼상15:3 – 하나님께서 이스라엘을 적대한 아말렉을 치되 진멸하라 하심

1Sam 15:3 – God told Israelites to attack Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them

- 삼상15:8-9 – 사울과 백성이 아각과 그의 양과 소의 가장 좋은 것 또는 기름진 것과 어린양과 모든 좋은것을 남기고 진멸하기를 즐겨 아니하고 가치없어 하찮은 것은 진멸하니라

1Sam15:8-9 – But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs – everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed.

-> 사울은 하나님의 말씀에 불순종했다 (교만)

Saul disobeyed God (Arrogant)

- 삼상15:1-9 – 하나님의 말씀에 불순종

1Sam 15:1-9 – He disobeyed God’s Word

- 삼상15:12 – 자기를 위하여 기념비를 세움

He has set up a monument in his own honor

- Soli Deo Gloria (오직 영광을 하나님께 Only glory to God)

- 삼상13:9 – 사무엘이 드려야할 제사를 자기가 드리길 원했던 사울

1Sam 13:9 – Saul wanted to give burnt offerings when it was Samuel’s job

2. 회복해야 할 영적감각 (삼상15:13-)

Spiritual sense that needs to be restored (1Sam 15:13)

(1) 삼상15:13 – 내가 여호와의 명령을 행하였나이다 하니

1Sam 15:13 – I have carried out the LORD’s instructions

(2) 15:14 – 그러면 내 귀에 들려오는 이 양의 소리와 내게 들리는 소의 소리는 어찌 됨이니이까 하니라

15:14 – What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?

(3) 15:15 – 백성이 당신의 하나님 여호와께 제사하려 하여 양들과 소들중에서 가장 좋은 것을 남김이요 그 외에 것은 우리가 진멸하였나이다 하는지라

15:15 – They spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the LORD your God, but we totally destroyed the rest

(4) 15:19 – 어찌하여 왕이 여호와의 목소리를 청종하지 아니하느냐

15:19 – Why did you not obey the LORD?

(5) 15:20-21 – 사울의 변명

(6) 15:22-23 – 사무엘의 선언

15:22-23 – Samuel’s declaration

(7) 15:30 – 사울이 이르되 내가 범죄하였을지라도 이제 청하옵나니 내 백성의 장로들 앞과 이스라엘 앞에서 나를 높이사 나와 함께 돌아가서 내가 당신의 하나님 여호와께 경배하게 하소서 하더라

15:30 – I have sinned. But please honor me before the elders of my people and before Israel; come back with me, so that I may worship the LORD your God

- 사울의 체질 – 완전 자기중심, 인본주의 자, 이기적이다

Saul’s nature – Completely centered on himself and had humanism and selfishness
