기념비적 우정

(Memorial Friendship)

삼상 (1Sam) 18:1-5

 

 

 

1. 자기 생명과 같은 존재로 여김 (삼상 18:1)

He considered him as himself (1Sam. 18:1)

- 다윗이 사울에게 말하기를 마치매 요나단의 마음이 다윗의 마음과 하나가 되어 여나단이 그를 자기 생명 같이 사랑하니라

After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself.

1) 서로의 배경

Their background

(1) 요나단: 사울왕의 장남 (삼상14:49-51)

Jonathan: King Saul’s first son (1Sam 14:46-51)

황태자, 용감한 자 (삼상14:6)

Prince, courageous man (1Sam 14:6)

백성들이 인정 (삼상14:45)

People acknowledged him (1Sam 14:45)

(2) 다윗: 양치는 목동 (삼상16:11)

David: Shepherd (1Sam 16:11)

물멧돌 하나로 블레셋을 이김 (삼상17:41-49)

He triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone (1Sam 17:41-49)

2) 언약을 맺음 (삼상18:3)

They made a covenant (1Sam 18:3)

- 요나단은 다윗을 자기 생명 같이 사랑하여 더불어 언약을 맺었으며

And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself

(1) 요나단은 자기가 입었던 겉옷(왕자 옷)을 다윗에게 주었다

Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David

(2) 자기의 군복과 칼과 활과 띠도 그리하였더라

He also gave him his tunic and even his sword, his bow and his belt

 

2. 인생의 진정한 친구

True friend in life

1) 요나단은 다윗을 방어해주었다 (삼상19:1-7)

Jonathan defended David (1Sam 19:1-7)

(1) 삼상19:1-7 – 사울왕이 다윗을 죽이기를 꾀함

1Sam 19:1-7 – King Saul was looking for a chance to kill David

(2) 삼상18:6-9 – 시기, 질투심 속에서 다윗을 죽이기로 결심

1Sam 18:6-9 – Because of the jealousy and envy, he decided to kill David

(3) 삼상19:1-2 – 요나단은 다윗을 피신하도록 함

1Sam 19:1-2 – Jonathan decided to hide David

(4) 삼상19:4-5 – 아버지께와서 다윗을 변호함

1Sam 19:4-5 – He defended David from his father

(5) 삼상19:6-7 – 사울왕의 변화 (마음) à 다윗을 사울에게 인도

1Sam 19:6-7 – King Saul’s change (heart) à He led David to Saul

2) 다윗을 보호해줌 (삼상20:1-42, 삼상 23:15-18)

Protected David (1Sam 20:1-42, 1Sam 23:15-18)

(1) 삼상20:32 – 요나단이 그의 아버지 사울에게 대답하여 이르되 그가 죽을 일이 무엇이니이까 우엇을 행하였나이까

1Sam 20:32 – “Why should he be put to death? What has he done?” Jonathan asked his father

(2) 삼상20:33 – 사울이 요나단에게 단창을 던져 죽이려 한지라

1Sam 20:33 – Saul hurled his spear at him to kill him

(3) 삼상20:35-42 – 약속대로 (화살로 신호) 다윗을 피신보냄

1Sam 20:35-42 – As he promised (gave a sign by arrow), he hid David

(4) 삼상23:15-18 – 십광야 수풀에 숨은 다윗을 찾아 하나님을 힘있게 의지하게 하였다 (16)

1Sam 23:15-18 – Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God. (16)

너는 이스라엘 왕이 되고 나는 네 다음이 될것이다 (17)

You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. (17)

3) 요나단의 죽음앞에 다윗

David, in front of Jonathan’s death

(1) 삼상31:1-6 – 블레셋군에 의해 3형제 함께 죽음

1Sam 31:1-6 – By the army of Philistine, 3 brothers were killed

(2) 상하1:17-27 – (26) 내 형 요나단이여 내가 그대를 애통함은 그대는 내게 심히 아름다움이라 그대가 나를 사랑함이 기이하여 여인의 사랑보다 더 하였도다

2Sam 1:17-27 – (26) I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; you were very dear to me. Your love for me was wonderful. More wonderful than that of women.

(3) 상하 9:6-11 – 요나단의 아들 므비보셋을 왕자처럼 여겼다

2Sam 9:6-11 – He considered Jonathan’s son Mephibosheth as his prince

Through the beautiful friendship (Affection):

부부관계, 부모자식간의 관계, 형제간의 관계, 성도간의 관계, 직장동료와의 관계가 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 회복

Relationship between parents, parents and child, congregation, and co-workers must be restored in the name of Jesus Christ
