1. 1.      남편된 나발

Husband Nabal

1)    삼상(1 Sam) 25:2, 양 3000, 염소 1000마리 – 큰 부자

3000 sheeps and 1000goats

2)    삼상(1 Sam) 25:3, 성격은 완고하고 행실은 악함

Surly and mean in his dealings

3)    삼상(1 Sam) 25:17, “우리 주인은 불량한 사람이다.”

Wicked Man

4)    삼상(1 Sam) 25: 4, 축제의 날

Day of Festival

5)    삼상(1 Sam) 25:5-8, 소년 10명을 보내어 먹을것을 가져오게함

David sent 10 young men to bring food

6)    삼상 (1 Sam)25:10, 나발은 소년들의 요구를 거절하고 안면몰수함

Nabal rejected the young men’s demand without caring

7)    삼상(1 Sam) 25:12-13, 다윗이 자기사람 400명을 무장시켜 나발을 죽이려 출동

David went to kill Nabal with 400 armed men

1. 2.      지혜로운 아비가일

Wise Abigail

1)    문제를 풀어가는 아비가일(18-19)

Abigail who solved the problem

2)    다윗앞에 엎드려 얼굴을 땅에대고 전적 용서를 구함 (23-25)

Abigail bowed down before David with her face to the ground

-“이  죄악을 내게로 돌리소서.”

“Let the blame be on me alone.”

3)    아비가일이 다윗이 사단에게 이용당하지 않도록함

Abigail blocked David from being used by Satan

-다윗의 감정적 분노를 아비가일이 잠재웠다

Abigail calmed David’s rage

4)    미래를 알았던 아비가일 (29-30)

Abigail who knew the future

5)    다윗의 감동(32-35)

David was moved

6)    집에온 아비가일(36-38)

Abigail came home

결론 Conclusion

- 아비가일을 통해 축복받은 두남자

Two men who were blessed through Abigail

-아비가일의 지혜있는 헌신이 없었다면:

Without Abigail’s devotion with wisdom:

(1) 자기뿐 아니라 자기 가정까지 죽었을것

Abigail and her family would have been killed

(2) 다윗 (왕)에게 신앙적, 정신적으로 큰 오점을 남겼을것

David would have made a big mistake

세계복음화는 멀지 않았다
