주는 나의 등불 (The Lord is My Lamp) 삼하 (2Sam) 22:29-41

1. 여호와는 나의 하나님 (삼하22:1-3)

The Lord is my God (2Sam 22:1-3)

“여호와는 나의 반석이시요 나의 요새시요 나를 위하여 건지는 자시요”

“The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.”

-대부분 사람들은 창조자의 실존을 인정하지만 그분을 자신의 인생 주인이심을 인정하지 않는다.

Most people know the existence of the creator but they don’t consider him as their lives’ true owner.

(1) 불신자-자기의 힘

      Nonbelievers-Strength of their own

(2) 신자들은 어떤가?

      Then how are the believers?

-예수 그리스도를 믿는다 하지만 작은 문제에 낙심한다.

Even though we say that we believe in Jesus Christ, we become frustrated in front of small problems.

-사울이 왜 인생을실패했나?

Why did Saul fail?

-이스라엘의 하나님을 자기 하나님으로 고백하지 않았기에

Because he didn’t confess God of Israel as his God

-왜 사울은 하나님을 자신의 하나님으로 고백하지 못했나?

Why was Saul unable to confess God as his God?

-평상시 하나님과 소통하지 못했다.

Because he didn’t mutually communicate with God.

-다윗은 많은 어려움속에서도 하나님을 의지함으로 인생의 승리를 가져왔다.

Because David always depended on God in the midst of hardships, he was able to become a victor in life.

2.  여호와는 나의 등불

The Lord is my lamp

     “여호와는 주는 나의 등불이시니 여호와께서 나의 어둠을 밝히시리이다.”

     “You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD turns my darkness into light.”

-등불은 어둠을 밝히고 길을 인도

Lamp turns darkness into light and guides the path

-다윗은 자신의 인생의 등불이 하나님이라고 고백합니다.

David confessed that God is the lamp of his life.

     “내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기를 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라…”

     “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me…”

-삼하 (2Sam 21:15-17)

     “…다윗의 추종자들이 그에게 맹세하여 이르되 왕은 다시 우리와 함께 전장에 나가지 마옵소서 이스라엘의 등불이 꺼 지지 말게 하옵소서 하니라”

     “…Then David’s men swore to him, saying, “Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished.”

   -달이 스스로 빛을 발하지 못하는 것처럼 우리 인생도 참 등불, 하나님의 은혜를 입어야 빛을 발할 수 있다.

     Just like how moon can’t shine the light on its own, we can only shine the light when we have the true lamp, God’s grace.

결론 Conclusion

우리 인생의:

In our lives:

1. 참 주인은: 나의 하나님

    The true owner: My God

2. 참 빛은: 등불되신 하나님

    The true light: God who is my lamp

3. 예수 그리스도의 복을 받고, 남의 복도 받는 축복된 삶

    Live a blessed life by receiving the blessings of Jesus Christ and others.
