누가 참 이스라엘 사람인가?

(Who are the true Israelites?)

 로마서 (Romans) 11:1-12

 

1.왜 많은 신자들이 하나님의 자녀된 신분의 축복을 못 받는  가? Why can’t many believers enjoy the blessings of being the Children of God?

 

1) 선민 이스라엘의 축복 = 하나님 자녀의 축복

Blessings of the Chosen People, the Israelites = Blessings of Children of God

 

① 하나님은 아브라함의 가문을 들어서 하나님의 백성이 어떤 자인지 설명하신다.  God takes the example of Abraham and his family to explain what kind of people is the people of God

 

⑴ 아브라함, 이삭, 야곱, 요셉

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph

 

-창세기 Genesis 12:2-3

“내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대하게 하리니 너는 복이 될지라 너를 축복하는 자에게는 내가 복을 내리고 너를 저주하는 자에게는 내가 저주하리니 당의 모든 족속이 너로 말미암아 복을 얻을것이라 하신지라.”

“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

“그가 이르되 내 이름을 다시는 야곱이라고 부를 것이 아니요 이스라엘이라 부를것이니 이는 네가 하나님과 및 사람들과 겨루어 이겼음이니라.”

“Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”

시대적 축복 Historical Blessings

기념비적 축복 Commemorative Blessings

불가항력적인 축복 Irresistible Blessings

 

-여호수아 Joshua 1:5

“내평생에 너를 능히 대적할 자가 없으리니 내가 모세와 함게 있었던것같이 너와 함께 있을것임이니라 내가 너를 떠나지 아니하며 버리지 아니하리니”

“No one will be able to stand up against all the days of your life.  As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

 

2) 참 축복의 근원 The origin of the true blessing

 

① 복의 근원은 하나님 God is the origin of blessing

2. 참 이스라엘의 축복을 누리자

Let us enjoy the blessing of the true Israelites

 

1) 나를 갱신, 나의 정체성 확립

Establishing my identity, reforming myself

 

2) 하나님의 계획 God’s plan

 

① 죽어가는 영혼을 불쌍히 여김 – 전도

Having heart for the souls that are dying – Evangelism

② 선교  Missions

③ 렘넌트 양육 Raising the Remnants

 

-로마서 Romans 1:1

“그러므로 내가 말하노니 하나님의 자기 백성을 버리셨느냐 그럴수 없느니라..”

“I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means!...”

 

3) 기회를 놓치지 말자 Do not let opportunities pass by

 

-전도서 Ecclesiastes 3:1

“범사에 기한이 있고 천하 만사가 다 때가 있나니”

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven”
