주를 위하여 (For the Lord)  로마서 (Romans) 14:1-12

 

 

 

-십계명 Ten Commandments (출애굽기 Exodus 20:7-17)

  1-4 계명 Commandments – 하나님과 사람사이의 도리

                                               Duty between God and man

  5-10 계명 Commandments  - 사람을 향한 섬김의 도리

                                           Duty of servitude towards people

 

-때를 아는 지혜로운 신자 The wise one who knows his time

① 부모가 먼저 하나님의 축복을 받아야 한다

Parents should receive God’s blessings first

② 부모님이 자식들에게 복음을 전달해주어야 한다

Parents must relay the Gospel to their children

③ 마땅히 행할길을 가르쳐야 한다

Parents should teach the children the right way

 

 

 

 

 

1. 부모님은 어떤 분들이신가? Who are my parents?

 

(1)  하나님의 창조의 능력을 부모님을 통해서 알게 하심 

Through our parents, God has shown us his power of creation

 

(2) 부모님은 하나님의 사랑의 그림자 

Parents are the shadows of God’s love

 

ex) 다윗 왕 King David – 압살롬 Absalom

 

(3) 부모님을 통해서 하나님의 계획이 이루어짐  

God’s plans are being fulfilled through our parents

 

 

 

 

 

2. 부모를 공경해야 한다 You must respect and honor your parents

 

(1) 겸손으로 섬기라 Serve with humbleness

 

-레위기 Leviticus 19:32

“너는 센 머리 앞에서 일어서고 노인의 얼굴을 공경하며 네 하나님을 경외하라 나는 여호와니라”

“Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God, I am the LORD.”

 

-장유유서 長幼有序 Respect your elders

 

(2) 형제간의 우애와 사랑을 베풀어야 한다

Love and care for your siblings

 

-요셉 Joseph

 

(3) 부모님의 노후를 편안히 해드려야 한다 (영적,육적)

Make the last years of your parents comfortable (Spiritually, physically)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

결론 Conclusion

 

로마서 Romans 14:7-8

 

“(8) 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로다”

“If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.  So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord”

 

-부모들은 자녀들을 주안에서 바로 양육하고  

Parents should raise their children with the Lord’s ways

-자녀들은 부모님을 공경해야 한다

Children should respect and honor their parents
