맥추절의 의미

② 맥추절 Feast of Harvest

③ 수장절 Feast of Ingathering

1.신앙의 성장과 자립의식

Growth of faith and the sense of independence

1) 40년 광야생활

40 Years in the wilderness

2) 요단 건너 가나안 정복

Across the Jordan River, conquering the land of Canaan

3) 자립신앙  (창세기 3:17-19)

2. 맥추절과 감사를 통한 신앙고백 

Confession of faith through the feast of harvest and thanksgiving

1) 로마서 Romans 2:13

“하나님 앞에서는 율법을 듣는 자가 의인이 아니요 오직 율법을 행하는 자라야 의롭다 하심을 얻으리니”

“For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous”

2) 맥추절을 지키라 Celebrate the Feast of Harvest

The feast of harvest is the door of experiencing the benefit of the throne

“나를 사랑하는 자들이 나의 사랑을 입으며…부귀가 내게 있고 장구한 재물과 공의도 그러하니라”

“I love those who love me…with me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity”

2) 사무엘상 1 Samuel 2:30

“…나를 존중히 여기는 자를 내가 존중히 여기고 나를 멸시하는 자를 내가 경멸하리라”

“…Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained”

3) 로마서 Romans 11:35 “누가 주께 먼저 드려서 갚으심을 받겠느냐”

“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?”
